ALDERNEY WEEK 2008 – celebrating 60 years of pure magic
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Alderney Week, we really did push out the boat with a mega programme of events – 110 in total.
Some 2,000 photos were taken during Alderney Week by Alderney Week Team Member Ilona Soane-Sands, States of Alderney Marketing Manager Joanna Parmentier and independent photographer Paul Coles as well as other contributors.

We will be uploading more photographs and we will also be adding reports and competition results to each day’s major events. If you have high resolution photographs of events which are not covered here, we would be most grateful. ITV Channel Television had a 4-man crew (3 ladies, 1 gentleman) on the island throughout Alderney Week and has now released a very entertaining DVD entitled “Alderney Week 60” which features numerous events throughout Alderney Week as well as news bulletins.

The Alderney Week Team has also released a DVD of the Magical Mystery Gala Night: amazing tricks on stage – some successful, some not quite… but all totally hilarious. What a show that was and what great home entertainment. More details click here
