This year's ceremonial wielder of the Mashie Niblick and now complete all-round good egg has come to the aid of the party, jumped over the quick brown fox, and put up his hand to organise CAVALCADE DAY 2002. Fanfare of trumpets! Stand to attention! Drinks all round!

And was his other hand twisted up his back at the time? Shame on you for the thought!

Well, whatever he may or may not have been doing with his other hand, one is delighted to announce that Mr Mike Price is on the job. There’s a maze of things to organise for Cavalcade Day, and Pricey is your man for amazement.

He’ll be passing amongst you very soon to nail you to a sideshow, so when you see him coming, pat him on the back, buy him a drink, and pledge your support – unless of course you plan to be wearing it on Cavalcade Day.

I’m sure the regulars will get a call – and if you’re wondering why David has said nothing much yet to the Cavalcade Day team – now you know!
