Little Miss & Master Alderney Party- Easter Saturday 7 April Probably one of the most dangerous jobs is volunteering to be a judge for the Little Miss Alderney, Little Master Alderney, Terrific Toddler, Bouncy Baby and Best Fancy Dress. But the three Musketeers - very brave ladies - rose to the challenge. Mums and dads were happy. The prize winners were delighted with their awards and every child left with an Easter present. It was a fantastic turnout of contestants and the fancy dress entries (theme: “Kings, Queens, Princesses and Athletes”) were exdellent. Compère, Alderney Week Team Leader Ronnie Cairnduff interviewed the candidates for the Little Miss and Master Alderney titles which helped the judges choose the winners. ..

Miss Alderney 2012 Crowning Disco - Easter Saturday 7 April The Island Hall was the place to be that night, and it was heaving! Island FM's popular DJ Carl Ward had pulled the crowds, and some turned out in hilarous fancy dress outfits to celebrate a certain young lady's birthday. At 10:30pm Ronnie Cairnduff announced the winner of the Miss Alderney 2012 contest , 17-year old Charlie Barker who was crowned by last year's Miss Alderney Bonnie Flewitt, and then it was big party time. The party continued with a Bunker Party which revellers left just in time for Easter Sunday morning's breakfast!. . ![]() ALDERNEY WEEK 2011 FANTASY ISLANDS - THAT WAS THE WEEK THAT WAS

![]() MISS ALDERNEY WALL OF FAME
Miss Alderney across the years: from 1948 until today: Alderney is blessed with beautiful girls and Alderney Week just could not happen without Miss Alderney - the island’s youngest ambassadress. The first Miss Alderney after the war was Eileen Sykes who claimed the title in 1948. Since then we’ve had a Miss Alderney for every Alderney Week (well, almost!). Below are the young ladies who claimed the title of Miss Alderney and Maids of Honour (ref: MH) throughout the years. And, as you probably have noticed, since 2011 Miss Alderney no longer has Maids of Honour. Unfortunately we are missing records and pictures of two or three Miss Alderneys and if you have any photographs or better ones than those published on this page, please send these to Alderney Week PO Box 138, Alderney GY9 3EY or e-mail [email protected]. And yes, there was Mister Alderney, too and we’re reviving this great fun contest.
