Sponsorship Opportunities for Alderney Week 2013:
We are now working on the Alderney Week 2013 programme of events and are now actively seeking sponsors to help us pull off the 100 or so events during this 8-day long fun festival.
We appreciate that in the current economic climate, this may prove more challenging than ever but, like every year, the Alderney Week Team is determined to bring plenty of sunshine, happiness and fun to everybody here in Alderney and to the many hundreds of visitors who fly or sail here to enjoy another fantastic Alderney Week.
Alderney Week is the Channel Islands’ largest annual tourism and community event : 8 days of non-stop family frolics, entertainment, music, shows and fun competition and no doubt you will appreciate that it would just take one “meagre” Alderney Week to lose that great reputation and the valuable tourism which is so vital to the island’s economy. Alderney Week 2013 will be a massive team effort by the island’s businesses and residents, the off-island businesses who have a strong customer base in Alderney, the visitors who love coming back every year and, of course, the Alderney Week Team who will put all their time, effort, enthusiasm and commitment into Alderney Week 2013 to make this another roaring success.
We hope you’ll become one of our much valued sponsors, and all donations will be gratefully accepted. Although all donations and sponsorship monies go into one central fund which will enable us to finance such a varied programme, we will offer you the choice of selecting an event to which you would particularly like to link your sponsorship support.
As always, all sponsorship contributions and donations go into one general fund which will enble us to finnce such a varied programme, but we offer sponsors the choice of linking their support to a particular event of their choice To reflect and acknowledge the different levels of financial contributions and sponsorship support, we are offering four categories of sponsorship and a number of options for event sponsorship, as outlined below:

As the Channel Islands’ biggest community and tourism event, Alderney Week always attracts excellent media coverage from the local and regional media, including ITV Channel Television, BBC Spotlight, BBC Radio Guernsey, Island FM, Quay FM, Guernsey Press, Jersey Evening Post and, of course, the Alderney Journal and the Alderney Press.
Your commitment to the island’s community will not go unnoticed. All sponsorships and contributions, however small, are most appreciated and will be acknowledged—unless you wish to remain anonymous— in the official Alderney Week 2013 programme, on this website page with a hyperlink to your own website, and on our Flickr website next to the images of your sponsored event.
Your name will also appear in our subsequent sponsorship thank-you adverts placed in the Alderney Journal and the Alderney Press.
At the end of Alderney Week, all event sponsors will also receive a CD containing photographs of their sponsored events to use for publicity—and you can refer your business contact, friends and family to our Flickr website to download.
Our logo is your logo: As an Alderney Week sponsor you are entitled to use our Alderney Week 2013 logo , which will be released shortly.
Furthermore, all Platinum Sponsors and Gold Sponsors will also be provided free of charge with a generic 6’x20” event sponsorship banner featuring their company name and logo which will be displayed at the location of their sponsored event.
Plus: Platinum Sponsors are entitled to a free full page advert, and Golden sponsors to a ½ page free advert in the printed Alderney Week Programme.
